UNITY CALL: Former Head of State Yakubu Gowon has reaffirmed his confidence in Nigeria’s future, saying his “love for the country is beyond question” despite current national challenges.
Speaking during the presentation of his autobiography, My Life of Duty & Allegiance, Gowon also urged political leaders to avoid “do-or-die” politics and support actions that strengthen national unity ahead of the 2027 elections.
He expressed confidence that Nigeria would overcome its challenges and continue moving forward.
