Andrea Danyell Kelly professionally as Drea is an American choreographer, dancer, and actress. Andrea is the ex-wife of singer-songwriter R. Kelly. She was a backup dancer for Kelly before she got married to him. Andrea changed her last name from Lee to Kelly after their marriage.

Drea is known as an actor through various movies consisting of Before ‘I Do’ (2016), Chocolate City (2015), and Aim (2018). She is also a reality television star of VH1’s Hollywood Exes.

Andrea revealed on The View that R. Kelly physically and emotionally abused her throughout their marriage. She claimed that the abuse became so severe that she thought of suicide. Drea clearly explained an incident where Kelly assaulted her in the back of his Hummer, and she resulted in suffering from PTSD (Post-traumatic stress disorder). During another incident, he ”hogtied” her in bed, raped her, and fell asleep leaving her untied. Drea said her intention for speaking out many years after their divorce is to help other victims of domestic violence.
