*This is Edo-Delta-Bayelsa-River States road, linking from Lagos.. Benin, Warri, Port Harcourt and to Calabar, the forerunner of the so called “Coastal Road” in the oil rich Niger Delta. The road – a section of the East/West Federal road, is currently comatose. Currently large sections of the same East/West road are not motorable.*
*Yet we are spending N15 Trillion on Lagos Calabar coastal road, to be built on a far more unstable, swampier and hostile terrain. A project with doubtful intentions of completion, talk less of steady maintainance. Besides hundreds of federal roads are not motorable as we speak.*
*Aren’t many Niger Deltan activists stupid? Tompolo, Asari Dokubo, Boyloaf, Tom Ateke, Ayiri, Gov Sheriff, Sen Oshiomhole, Wike, Amaechi – all Niger Deltans. Are we the craziest, stupidest people on earth? Shame!*
*The South South and South East have no roads to travel but the president is doing everything development and roads only in his native South West. But the South East and South South political leaders are praising him and championing 2027 for Tinubu, even as he has not done anything for the South outside the South West.*
