Brianne Sidonie Desaulniers professionally known as Brie Larson is a famous American actress and filmmaker. She is known for her supporting roles in comedies as a teenager. A Career from 2001 to 2008
Her first major role came in the WB sitcom Raising Dad, as the younger daughter of Bob Saget‘s character. The sitcom aired for one season during the 2001-02 television schedule. Next, she was hired for the ABC sitcom Hope & Faith, but she and other cast members were replaced after an unpaired pilot. She starred alongside Beverly Mitchell in 2003, in the Disney Channel film Right on Track. And has played minor roles in the 2004 comedies Sleepover and 13 Going on 30. After failing to get cast in the 2003 film as Wendy Darling, she wrote and recorded a song titled “Invisible Girl” which received airplay on KIIS-FM.
Soon after, she signed a record deal with Tommy Mottola of Casablanca Records, at the time, she and Lindsay Lohan were the only artists signed by the label. She released the album Finally Out of P.E. in 2005, for which she also co-wrote songs with other songwriters, including Blair Daly, Pam Sheyne, Lindy Robbins, and Holly Brook. She began playing Kate Gregson in 2009 in the Showtime comedy-drama series the United States of Tara. In 2009 also, she starred alongside Rooney Mara in Tanner Hall. After which she played Molly, a high school student in 21 Jump Street co-starring alongside Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum. 21 Jump Street proved to be Larson’s most widely seen film with a worldwide gross of over $200 million. In 2015, she had three film releases. Her first appearance was in Digging for Fire, the second one was Trainwreck, and the third one she starred in Room.
