NOW HEAR THIS Jewish Christian Muslim, Africans in general, Nigeria in particular and people all over the world. ” Love your neighbor ( Jewish Christian Muslim, Black, white, brown, colored, tribes and ethnicity etc ) as you love yourself. Every human being created by The Creator Almighty GOD ALLAH JEHOVAH. ” —- Holy Torah Holy Bible and Holy Quran.
Back in 1980, a 19-year-old Eddie Murphy was struggling to get by in New York City while chasing his dream of joining Saturday Night Live. With almost no money and barely enough to eat, he once tried to take food from a neighborhood corner store just to survive.
The owner, Mr. Hassan, noticed what was happening. But instead of reporting him, he chose compassion. He quietly told Eddie, “Come by every night around 8. I’ll leave a bag for you near the door.” Night after night, for nearly six months, Mr. Hassan left bread, milk, and fruit so the young comedian would not go hungry.
That simple act of kindness helped Eddie make it through one of the hardest periods of his life until his career finally took off on SNL and later in films like “Beverly Hills Cop.”
Years later, after becoming a global star, Eddie decided he wanted to repay the man who had once helped him survive. He discovered that Mr. Hassan had passed away in 2005, and his wife was still trying to keep the small family store running on her own.
Wanting to honor the man’s generosity, Eddie bought Mrs. Hassan a home worth $2.8 million and cleared the store’s remaining $450,000 mortgage. He also created a $2 million education fund for Mr. Hassan’s five grandchildren to secure their future.
Today, a plaque inside the store remembers their story with the words: “He helped me survive when I had nothing. Now his family will never struggle alone.”
We thank GOD for your life, you have touched so many lives, brought them closer to GOD, apart from making their lives better. GOD will not forget all you have done for mankind in HIS name. GOD bless you.
