He’s 78 years old and has openly said he won’t be around for much longer.
After leaving office,he founded the Clinton foundation,and for 22 years, it’s been providing AIDS medication to 120 countries.
Even after heart surgery at 78, he still flies economy class around the world.
And just last year,he completed his 19th medical aid trip to Africa. He donated his entire presidential salary,earned $15 million in book royalties,but took none of it and put it all into a climate change research fund. His New york mansion is rented out year round,with profits going to girls education programs.
What people admire most is how, under pressure,he signed the Telecommunications Act,paving the way for a nationwide fiber optic network.
Back then,he was mocked for not understanding technology,but now he’s laid the ground work for the digital economy.
