No gunshots
No thuggery
No delays in announcement
No returning officers in traffic
No discrimination of voting
No fighting at the polls
No vote buying
No sharing of rice and Indomie
No life was lost.
No police sleeping on duty.
No late arrival of INEC staffs
No calabash or sacrificeat at the entrance of any polling unit; no repainting of the Prime Minister’s Official Residence. No decontamination of the three-bedroom apartment.
In summary, Nigerian leaders are not serious and may never be.
Rishi Sunak (the former Prime Minister who lost the election Friday night) packed out Saturday afternoon, and immediately the New Prime Minister (Keir Starmer) moved into the same flat. Not even repainting.
