Victoria Osteen is an American co-pastor of the Lakewood Church in Houston, Texas. In addition, she is also an author who has written several books. Published Books

Her first book titled Love Your Life: Living Happy, Healthy, and Whole was released for sale on October 14th,2008. The book was published by Simon and Schuster. After the release, the book peaked at No.2 on the New York Times Bestseller list. Moreover, the book had 750,000 copies, and the initial printing of Love Your Life was one of the largest by any US publisher in 2008.

Furthermore, Victoria does not only write adult books, in January 2009, but she also released children’s books which were published by Simon & Schuster’s Little Simon imprint. Her 5-year deal with Simon & Schuster covers 13 books for children, including a Bible.

In 2010, she founded the Victoria Osteen Child Literacy Program to assist kids to get books into their hands and also to break the cycle of illiteracy in the home.

In addition, she is always a supporter of the community organizations, where she was awarded the Community Impact Award by the Greater Southwest Houston Chamber of Commerce, as a result of her contributions locally.

She was born in Huntsville Alabama to Donald IIoff and Georgine IIoff. They lived near Marshall Space Flight Center, where her father was a mathematician with General Electric and was a member of GE’s Saturn rockets project team led by German rocket scientist Wernher von Braun. However, in 1963, her father got a position with the National Aeronautics and Space Administration ( NASA). After that, they relocated to Houston Texas when she was only two years.
