Who Is John Krasinski?

John Krasinski is an American actor, director, screenwriter, and producer. In addition, he has received four Primetime Emmy Award nominations.

Krasinski conducted research in Scranton and interviewed employees at actual paper businesses in preparation for his part. He also photographed the Scranton footage used in the opening titles. He starred in every episode of the show and directed several of them, including “Sabre.”

In 2008, Krasinki appeared together with Renee Zellweger and George Clooney in the Latter’s directorial venture Leatherheads. Moreover, in 2009 he made his debut in the comedy-drama film Brief Interviews with Hideous Men. In 2016, he was featured in Michaels Bay’s biographical war film 13hours: The Secret Soldier of Benghazi based on Mitchell Zuckoff’s 2014 book the 13 hours. In order to fit in this role he had to go under intensive training, he also put 25 pounds of muscle to play a former US Navy Seal. Furthermore, in that same year, he directed the comedy-drama The Hollars. Moreover, the film also marked the first feature film under his banner Sunday Night.

John directed, co-wrote, and also co-starred alongside his wife Emily Blunt in the film A Quiet Place in 2018. The film was a post-apocalyptic horror thriller, which was released on April 6, 2018, by Paramount Pictures. After its release the film received critical acclaim, being 95% Fresh at rottentomatoes.com based on 367 reviews. Moreover, the site described John as a “rising talent.” Furthermore, the film also became a major box office hit, grossing over $340 million worldwide.

Krasinski produced and starred as the titular character in the television series Jack Ryan. Moreover, by him playing the character, he became the fifth actor to do so. This was after Alec Baldwin, Harrison Ford, Ben Affleck, and Chris Pine from the film series. On August 31, 2018, Amazon Video premiered Jack Ryan.
