Qur’an, Sunnah, and Hadith in Islam. Qur’an, Sunnah, and the Hadith are the three holy texts that Muslims consider sacred and use for assessing ethical conduct that they want to promote within their communities. It is believed that the Quran is the most important of the three holy texts. It is believed to be an actual word spoken by God which is said to have been revealed to Muhammad through an apparition. Hadith is, however, a retelling of the words of Muhammad as well as those of his close friends.

The Sunnah

Sunnah, (Arabic: “habitual practice”) also known as Sunna the foundation of legal and social practices and customs in Sunnah, also known as the Islamic community.

The Hadith

Hadith (also known as Athar in Islam is the term used to describe those who the bulk of Muslims consider to be the document of the actions, words, and the silence of approval by Muhammad. The Islamic prophet Muhammad via a chain of narrators. In other words, hadith are the narrators’ reports of the things that Muhammad made and did.

The significance of the Qur’an in connection with the ethical teachings of Islam

Quran is the holy book of members of the Muslim religion. They believe that it has God’s true words that Muhammad got from the angel Gabriel during a divine revelation. The belief is that when people recite Quran it brings peace and tranquility. Also, it creates a close relationship between Muslims with God.

The significance of the Sunnah in connection with the Islamic ethical teachings

The Sunnah is another sacred Muslim text of Islam. The arrival of Sunnah was intended to complement and provide a better understanding of the Quran. The term Sunnah refers to or contains the words and actions of the Prophets Allah. In the phrases of Muhammad declaring that he was given the Quran and similar in it, he was referring to it as the addition of Sunnah to be found in the Quran. Any dispute between Muslims is resolved on the references to Allah (Quran) as well as His Messenger (Sunnah). Sunnah also has a significant role in aiding Muslims to interpret the Quran and how they apply it to their life. Sunnah adds to the Quaran as the main source of law among Muslims.

Sunnah can be considered the 2nd source of the Islamic code of behavior. It is, as Quran an important source of Jurisprudence. It is a source of jurisprudence. Sunnah along with the Quran are used in conjunction, as it is not possible to follow Islam without an understanding of the two holy texts.

The significance of the Hadith in connection with the Islamic moral doctrines

The Hadith is similar but not the same as the Quran or Sunnah in that it provides the ethics code and contains a number of stories about how the prophet lived his life, as well as the things he believed, were good to do. It teaches Muslims the moral values in order to live their lives as the Prophet recommended them. For example, the Hadith insists on unity among Muslims. The connection with other Muslims and in the personal human life is stressed. Muslims should, therefore, be supposed to be brothers. They should do their best to ensure that they live as one. It is apparent in the majority of areas of the globe. Muslims are more connected in comparison to other religious groups. They practice the majority of issues of faith in a group and support each other.
